A Brief Profile of the Aquias Strings

The Aquias Strings is not just a promise or a potential, it is a total experience. One that makes an affair full of special memories that can last a life time.

This family of musicians owe their versatility to their years  of extensive travel and bookings in five star hotels here & abroad.

The group can easily switch from listening to ballroom dance music or heed to the requests of guests for their favorite tunes & theme songs. As seasoned musicians, they can also create a show in a very short notice featuring excerpts from Broadway Plays & Movie Soundtracks. They are always keen on the taste of their guests catering to the kind of music they are familiar with but also infuse music that will enhance the ambiance & the theme of the occasion. Their Repertoire  covers a wide selection of tunes from all time favorites, light classics, jazz, OPM, & mellow pop.

During their free time, the Aquias Strings occupies themselves at honing talents of out of school youth believing that if they are engaged in worthwhile activities such as learning how to play musical instruments, these young individuals develop discipline, build character values and strengthen their self-esteem. As part of their out-reach program,the Aquias Strings visits the terminally ill patients in homes & hospitals. They also spend time visiting & playing music for retired priests & nuns in convents in the different parts of the country.

The Aquias Strings also has another branch of endeavour;known as the Aquias Talent Builder engaged at training students of different age level and grades in schools that are in partnership with them. It`s vision is to hone God given gifts to its fullest so that these talents can be at par with their peers through out the world. Aquias Talent Builder has already produced students who were admitted for scholarships at the National High School for the Arts in Makiling. Students undergoing training with the Aquias Talent Builder also often win at interschools musical competitions. The highlight of their training is the privilege to become a member of their school orchestra wherein chances of entering college & universities are made possible through scholarship grants.
